Business information — your role (farmer, dealer, distributor, partner, FPO) and the queries you submit.
Usage data — pages visited, time spent, and general geographic location (derived from IP address, not GPS).
Weather widget data — the city you select for weather advisory is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers.

To respond to enquiries and connect you with the right XL Crop Science team member.
To send crop advisories, product updates, and SMILE programme communications to dealers and distributors who have opted in.
To improve our website, content, and product recommendations based on aggregate usage patterns.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

Our website uses minimal cookies — primarily for analytics (to understand how visitors use the site) and for remembering your weather city preference.
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies.
You can clear browser cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings.

Enquiry and contact form data is stored in a secure cloud database (Supabase, hosted on AWS) accessible only to authorised XL Crop Science personnel.
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS) for all data transmission.
We retain lead and contact data for as long as necessary to serve your enquiry, and delete it upon request.

Weather data is provided by the Open-Meteo API. Your city selection is sent to their servers only to retrieve weather information.
Website analytics may be provided by a privacy-respecting tool. No personal identifiers are shared.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar advertising trackers.

You may request access to the personal data we hold about you.
You may request correction or deletion of your data at any time.
You may opt out of marketing communications by replying "unsubscribe" to any email or by writing to us directly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with a revised date.
